HS Business Hub

Software built
and run by
one person.

HS Business Hub is the umbrella for the software I design, build and maintain on my own. Four products live under it: one you can use today, three still on the bench.

Every new review, answered in your own words

ReplyPigeon checks a business’s Google reviews once a day. When a new one turns up it drafts a reply that answers what that customer actually said — not a template — and emails it over, ready to publish.

  • Checked once a day
  • A reply drafted for each new review
  • Delivered by email, ready to publish

ReplyPigeon does not post to Google. The draft comes to the owner, and the owner pastes it in.

Whyte Routes is being built.

Job and route scheduling for small field crews and mobile workforce teams — crew dispatch and optimised routing in one place.

Not released yet

What it will do

Whyte Routes is a job and route scheduling platform for small field crews and mobile workforce teams. It covers crew dispatch and optimised routing: who is going where, in what order, and on which day.

It is being built for the Apple App Store and for Google Play. There is nothing to download today, and the two slots below stay empty until there is.

SocialBirdie’s first version works.

The third thing on the bench, and the earliest of the three. The first version reads a website and writes a month of posts, and you can try it free.

Working, and early

What it does

It reads a business’s website once, takes down the plain facts of what that business does, and then write a month of posts and make the picture each one needs — for you to approve in one sitting before any of it goes out.

It writes the month and makes the pictures, then waits for you to approve them — the networks do not let an app post without a person considering each one. Same shape as ReplyPigeon: it drafts, you decide.

In development

HSLedger keeps the books.

The fourth thing on the bench. Bookkeeping for a Canadian sole proprietor: what came in, what went out, and roughly what to put aside before tax time.

Working, and early

What it does

Income, expenses, receipts, invoices, customers and mileage in one place, in Canadian dollars. It adds the year up, estimates the income tax and CPP a sole proprietor should be putting aside, and hands the lot over as spreadsheet files at tax time.

  • Invoices you can send and mark paid
  • Receipts photographed from a phone
  • An estimate of what to set aside
  • Everything exports to a spreadsheet

HSLedger is a bookkeeping tool, not an accountant. It files nothing, it is not connected to the CRA or to any bank, and the tax figure it shows is an estimate to plan against.

How this works

One person, start to finish.

HS Business Hub is not an agency and not a marketplace. It builds and runs its own software, and that is the whole of it.

  1. 01

    Designed

Every screen, and every line on this page, drawn in Ontario, Canada.

  2. 02

    Built and kept running

I write the software and I maintain it. No client work, and nothing here is resold from anybody else.

Learn with Letty and Sky.
